Field Trip!
Z has been doing so good in school and the weather is warming up so we went to the Zoo! Kebek wanted to go home after going to the fish exhibit. The first "fish tank" had the biggest python snake followed by more and more snakes and huge lizards. It also didn't help the worker was cleaning a snakes cage at the time. Next we went to see the monkeys indoors (as its too cold for them outside) and wouldn't you guess they also had a huge cage filled with another python. Kebek and Zeki were not impressed =-(. We made our way to the monkeys and they LOVED them, and all was forgotten. They had a great time, and their favorite were the plastic hippos at the entrance.

Update on the boys!
The mornings the boys enjoy doing puzzles.
Kebek doesnt like to sit and read so we get our reading in, during breakfast. He also doesnt like to sit at the table so it keeps him sitting for a bit longer =-)!
Zeki is doing SO well with tracing!!

The boys are doing really well. Z is doing really great in our little homeschool. His vocabulary is increasing everyday. He is doing wonderful counting to 20 in english and 10 in russian and spanish. He is able to recognize his numbers 1-10, his alphabet letters upper and lower case, his shapes, and colors. We are currently working on his colors in spanish. Kebek knows some of his numbers, some of his letters upper and lower case, and his colors. (however he is not one to let us know what he knows =-). Kebek will tell you his favorite food is ketchup, french fries, and chocolate. Zeki's is lollipops. Kebek wakes up in the morning asking for candy and chocolate =-). Zeki's favorite songs are "walking in the air," and "be careful little eyes what you see." Kebek likes music but he likes to press Zeki's music player to change the song to pester Zeki more than he likes listening to music. Kebek got his first kiss yesterday from Anya, our neighbor girl. Zeki came running for his too! Zeki is talking so much and communicating so much to us. He is doing well in continuing to learn sign language as well. The boys continue to go to Russian twice a week for 1 hour. Zeki is doing really well and Kebek is doing well pulling the curtains, tipping the chairs over, and climbing on the table. Z enjoys carrying his music player wherever he goes. Sharing is becoming a difficulty at the moment =-). Kebek loves to tell us "NO." Kebek beats to his own drum and enjoys every moment of his life. The boys have such a strong bond and truly love each other so much. Zeki continues to be more into art and music and Kebek into "shooting" baskets.
